Thankful to still have a 1984 version of the bible !!!!

The publisher should make this version available to the public. A lot of people learned and memorized versus with this version.

It took a long time to save up to buy the device use to access the NIV, and I found NIV useful in my study of the bible. The numerous reading plans helped to direct my study and made it possible create some variety In the study program. When I first saw the recent whats new tab, I thought this may be away to add some more variety to my study plans, but I was very disappointed to find out that is just author(s) trying to dip into the readers pockets for more money! Prior to this I considered a 5 star rating for the NIV, but now it is a 3.

If you are looking for NIV1984 and not NIV2011 this is what you want.

I love the easy reading of the NIV but honestly concerned about he many passages of scriptures that are left out. I love the auto scroll that is in this app.

Im so sorry for the NIV publishers that have turned away from the true interpretation of the Bible. Thankful for the NIV1984

Does the first Bible app that I found that does a 1984 NIV version, is great and easy to use everything is very clear and concise. To get to the point this app is worth the money its worth the time I have not regretted this purchase since I got it :-) :-)

I enjoy having the app and feel it was well worth the money. No stars for all the .99 cents per week stuff that keeps appearing. Thats 52$ yearly. Wasteful in a time of God telling us to help others and get out of debt.

I am so thankful I bought this 1984 NIV addition when it was available. I wish they never took the 1984 NIV off. I hope someday in the future they will bring it back.

Thank you for providing the NIV84 for my use in my iPhone! I have loved the NIV since it first came out and enjoy memorizing GODs Word, the Holy Bible (Psalm 119:11). I have used the NIV84 for about a year now and love it!!!

The best of the NIV versions. Wish this Bible had a way to access the NIV Study Bible nots. Needs to be set so you can enlarge the print when needed. Finally, it would help if You Could just keep scrolling down into the next section or chapter. This is Gods word in its most easy to comprehend form. This version is wonderful for memorizing.

If you read the preface of the NIV84, it just makes sense that it should always remain in print! Im thankful for all of the time and care that went into bringing this version into fruition. Niv 84 is the only true version left that will tell you the whole truth and I know that satin and his followers want this version to go away or changed just enough so that there is no conviction any more . I will alway seek out the truth and hold to it but the company that changed it did it only for money and God will punish for that .

I grew up with this version and still find it my favorite today. It is highly readable and has a flow to it that is unmatched. It grieves me that it has been discontinued. Ive stocked up on hard copy editions, but Im thankful and blessed to have an electronic access provided by this app! Thank you so much!

Great app. Simple navigation. Helpful feature: copying multiple verses to clipboard at a time. At first, lost some formatting after copy and paste. But developers were very responsive and helpful: problem solved. No complaints. Wonderful to have such easy and useful access to this version. Many, many thanks.

This version of the Bible offers great "helps" for the student as well as the veteran. Especially helpful are the concordance-style lists which allow the reader to simply type in a word or words and get a long list of relevant Scriptures. Other features include the ability to highlight portions of text for emphasis or further study.

Controls are easy to use and its easy to look up chapter and verse. I really like the night setting and easily adjusted type size.

Wonderful bible app. I love its ease of use, and search options.
